I set off to the fabric store today because Nut Boy and his buddy have come up with the idea of being aliens for Halloween. And although they produced some wonderful drawings, I was forced to bring their plans crashing back to Earth because while I am, of course, Super Squirrel (or perhaps supremely squirrelly), I have only a limited amount of time (and money!) left until October 31st. (Not to mention I don't want to torture the other parent involved.) To make a long story short, the costumes are still under negotiation, but will probably NOT involve silver space suits or giant tentacles.
My little alien would adore pink bunny jammies. He thinks pink is the best color EVER!

I have been called an alien and I'd wear them :-)

They'd wear them definitely, since they are strange, or not?

Email I sent you wasn't deleverd. This is what I wrote:
Guess I couldn't have convinced my son either, when he was that age. Even though he always wanted to become a gnome when he was older.
Unfortunately gnomes are really really out. It's now Playstation 3 with all its heavy games. Guess it goes with his age. After all he is 15.
Have a very nice week!

Nope, he won't go for Super Mario either. He finds me very very strange when I say such things.
Actually, in the Netherlands we don't celebrate Halloween. Things can be bought to decorate your home, but trick and treat and costumizing is hardly done here. Children wear costumes during carnaval, 6 weeks before Easter.
We are having some beautiful autumn days here. Tomorrow will probably be the last day. After that lots of rain is expected. Good weather to read and be creative. By the way, I love your pin cushion pattern you made for Quilt Fabric Deligths! Fun to make. I'll put a picture on my blog as soon as I finished it.
