Hello?

Yup, you probably want a darn good reason why I've been incommunicado for the last several weeks.

Let's just say the whole contractor putting in new windows and doors did not go as smoothly as I would have wished, and although I now have a studio of my own--YAAAAAAY!!!--other parts of the house still look like this...

 

That chair with the roll of white paper is where I'm currently taking photos, such as this shot of ricrac trim.  That I didn't pin on first.  And then didn't realize the ends weren't even until I was almost finished hand sewing the trim on.  

 

Reminds me of the seminar my husband took years ago, where they taught them the "Seven P's of Success":  Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. Yup.

Anyhoo, I wasn't about to let those mismatched ends remain in plain sight, so I came up with a solution that made me quite happy (anything that even remotely works out right now makes me happy):

 

 

 Slap a heart on it and we're good to go! Works for me!
